3 Sentence Story:
This piece is fragmented because I don't have a big enough scanner, but it is a visual comparison between designs used by archaic Greek Geometric painters, and designs used in Polynesian cultures in Samoa and Tonga. When I studied the Geometric period, I was so surprised at the similarity between our cultural designs. This was my inspiration for this piece.
